The DTC (Denver Technology Center), Greenwood Village, and Cherry Hills are neighborhoods in the same general area and commonly referred to as South Metro Denver. This part of town is your connection to everyday destinations for shopping, working, dining, education, or recreation. All amenities are close at hand. Outdoor interests can be pursued in the many open spaces, parks, playgrounds, and shelters or on the pedestrian, equestrian and bicycle trails that wind through the Village. The Parks, Trails and Recreation staff promote recreation and leisure activities because we believe having a good time is essential to personal growth, positive self-esteem and relaxation. We encourage you to visit our parks, which are an integral part of our community identity, and you will see that each park has been purposefully designed with your enjoyment in mind. This spectacular area is also home to some of Colorado’s most luxurious properties, from single-family homes, horse properties to townhomes.

Local Lifestyle

South Metro Denver’s trails and open spaces are a large part of what makes this area such a special place to live and visit. The Cherry Creek State Park  provides picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains and a peaceful setting for users to relax, reflect and enjoy the natural environment. The Village also has award winning parks such as Westlands Park and Silo Park where families can play in the playground or enjoy a picnic in the park.
 
The Village also offers the residents a skateboard park at William McKinley Carson Park, and parks for equestrian users such as Rollin D. Barnard Park and Alexander Lane Equestrian Park. The Village is fortunate to have two significant regional trail systems traverse through the community: The High Line Canal Trail on the west side of the city and the Cherry Creek Trail on the east side of the city.

Denver Technology Center, Greenwood Village, and Cherry Hills are all known for their classic restaurants, shopping, and entertainment centers. Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre is a beautiful outdoor venue in the Denver Technology Center featuring various music artists, comedians, and other performances. 
 
Locals also enjoy delicious meals from Ted's Montana Grill, which serves American food in an upscale setting. It's got an atmosphere ideal for both business lunches and family dinners. The restaurant has an outdoor patio area to enjoy fresh air during warmer months and it has a small dining room inside for those who prefer to dine indoors. A popular choice for breakfast lovers is the Three Little Griddles. They serve some of the best breakfast options here, just be prepared to wait in line if you go on a weekend because everyone wants to eat there!
 
For fun-filled activities, the Cherry Creek State Park and Reservoir will keep you busy. It's a great place to walk, ride a bike, or jog, with several other recreational opportunities and amenities. There's also plenty of wildlife in the area, so it is a worthy place to get up close and personal with deer and other animals.

Another famous hub in Denver Technology Center with several performances to entertain locals is the Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre.
